RECRUITMENT NOTICE

 

 We are looking for excellent students who have a strong sense of responsibility for student life management in relation to the dormitory's operation for the Second semester of 2024. Please apply if you are interested.

 

 

1. Staff Selection

     Number of employees and schedule may change depending on dormitory’s operation situation.

2. Management Operations

- Working hours excluded from classes’ schedule

- Following Article 31 of the dormitory operation regulations, 3-day holiday period is excluded from working hours

- Monthly scholarship may change depending on working hours or holidays. Students cannot exceed maximum working hours allowed.

- Dormitory operating hours and location may change due to public holidays and administrative operations (Lunar New Year, Chuseok, hiring and leaving period, fire evacuation drill period, etc.)

- Scholarship type : 9,860won per hour (minimum hourly wage applied in 2024) 

 

3. Regarding holidays

     - Holidays are allowed up to 3 times per month, following Article 31 of dormitory operation regulations (however, excessive days off are possible if approval is obtained from related higher authority figures. Staff A (day shift), Staff C (weekends) and Equipment manager are not allowed to take days off)

     - Staff must fill out a holiday application form and obtain approval from related manager before taking holiday(s)

     - A substitute worker must be designated when taking holiday(s)

     - Holiday application form must be submitted at least 3 days prior to the holiday date(s)

 

4. Qualification Requirements

     - Those with a GPA/average from 3.0 in the spring semester of 2024.
  (however, applicants holding a subject grade of D+ or lower will be disqualified (excluding Pass or Fail classes))

     - 2nd year students or higher as of 2024/ those able to work for at least one semester

     - Individuals with neat behaviors, role model characteristics, and a strong sense of responsibility

     - Individuals with high leadership skills that can guide others

     - Individuals that can reside in the dormitory after 18:00

 

5. Staff Benefits

     - Exemption of dormitory management fee during the semester (except for meal fee, this depends on dormitory operation)

     - Accommodation provided

 

6. Responsibilities/Duties

     - Delivery of dormitory notices/announcements

     - Listen and resolve to students’ difficulties and suggestions

     - Contribute to dormitory and facilities’ safety and condition inspection

     - Respond to emergency situations (fire, safety accidents, emergency patients, etc.)

     - Ensure residency condition and dormitory’s clean condition

     - Personal safety management and life guidance

     - Assist with dormitory administrative work

     - Student attendance/roll call and entry/exit management

     - Confirm and ensure the prohibition of prohibited items

     - Support for life amenities management

     - Check and manage residents of infectious diseases like Corona virus-infected disease

 

7. Selection Preferences

     - Those who can communicate in English or Chinese (preferences will be given to those with official language test score (TOEIC/HSK) certificate submissions)

     - Word, Excel proficiency (preferences will be given to those with certificate copy submissions)

     - Excellent grade holders

 

8. Application Requirements

     - Necessary Documents : Application, Resume, Self-Introduction (see attached file)

      a. Please write in Word using the attached document

      b. Prohibited to use correction tape and underlines

      c. False information being detected results in selection exclusion

      d. Prohibited to use black and white photos

Please note that even if students are selected after passing the interview, they may be required to work outside of their request work location and hours due to dormitory management reasons.
