Guidelines about the operation of the dormitory:

1. Dormitory Check-in and Check-out-

 

The following people will be forced to leave the dormitory and be prohibited from ever signing up for a stay 

    in the dormitory:

    ⅰ. People who regularly violate the rules of the dormitory and show no regard for them even after constant 

          warnings;

    ⅱ. People not paying their expenses within the given deadline;

    ⅲ. People not following the dormitory decorum and not behaving themselves.

 

Any such person who has been dismissed from the dormitory has to leave the dormitory premises within 4 days after being given the notice: if not, all their belongings will be taken and disposed.

 

2. Room assignment-

· The assigning of rooms in the dormitory shall be conducted by the dormitory administrative office every semester under the direction of the general superintendent, and the rooms assigned shall not be arbitrarily changed by the students.

 

· Daily Schedule of the dorm:

 ⅰ. Opening and closing doors: 05:30 to 24:00

 ⅱ. Roll call: Regular roll call and room check will be held from 23:00.

 ⅲ. Meal times:

· Cafeteria procedures-
Students shall observe the following procedures when eating at the cafeteria:
1. You cannot take away meals from the cafeteria.
2. Actually, you are not allowed to eat inside the dorm space.
3. When entering the cafeteria, you must dress appropriately.

 

Residents shall use all the belongings of the dormitory and shall compensate for intentional or negligent property damage.
· Fire management and cleanliness-
Residents shall actively cooperate with the control of firearms in the living space, preserve facilities, and be responsibly clean.
· Visits-
For private visits by outsiders, use the visiting room after going through the required procedures.
· Attachment of advertisements using bulletin boards must be approved by the management office supervisor in advance.

· Laundry: Residents cannot do laundry anywhere other than the designated laundry room.

. Prohibited from playing instruments: Residents are not allowed to play high-pitched instruments inside the dormitory.

·Staying outside overnight

 

1. Students intending to return home/stay overnight outside shall report the necessary matters (such as the reason of staying out, period of stay, etc) to the dormitory management office in advance. Penalty points will be given when the period of staying out has ended but the student hasn’t come back, and if it exceeds one week, we will consider that you have checked out of the dormitory.

 

2. Staying outside during weekdays (Monday-Thursday) is limited up until 3 times a month. Staying outside during weekends (Fri~Sun) and public holidays are not limited.

 

3. Staying outside are limited up until 3 times a month for the head of the dormitory and the residence assistants. When applying for a staying-out, a substitute worker must be designated. Staying out is not possible without having a substitute worker.

 

· Extension of staying outside due to learning and school activities

If a student's return time to the dormitory is delayed due to school classes or academic activities, he or she must bring a certificate of recognition (permission) issued by the school and submit it in advance.

 

· Storage of belongings.

Students should deposit their money in a bank and store their stuffs with the help of the dormitory management office.

Each person is responsible for their own personal loss. The dormitory is not responsible for the students’ loss.

 

· Penalty point

The head of the dormitory may take the following measures against students who have received penalty points.

 

1. Give warning: when the total accumulated penalty points reach 5 points

2. Kick out:

A person who has been disciplined with a suspension or higher

 

A person with a total accumulated penalty point of 10 or more

 

Other people deemed unsuitable for communal living.
